Rapper Jeezy, 45, has officially filed for divorce from his wife, Jeannie Mai Jenkins, 44, who is best known as a host on The Real.

As reported by PEOPLE, the divorce documents were submitted in Atlanta, Georgia, signaling the end of their two-and-a-half-year marriage, during which they shared a daughter.
According to the legal filing, the former couple is presently living separately, and their marriage is described as “irretrievably broken” with “no hope for reconciliation.” It’s worth noting that they had a prenuptial agreement in place.
One notable detail from the divorce documents is that Jeezy is seeking joint legal custody of their daughter.

Neither Jeezy nor Jeannie Mai Jenkins has commented publicly on the divorce filing, and as of now, there have been no responses from their respective representatives.
Jeezy and Jeannie relationship timeline
Jenkins and Jeezy, whose real name is Jay Jenkins, got married in March 2021 in Atlanta. Their daughter, Monaco, was born in January 2022.
Their relationship began when they met on the set of The Real, and after dating quietly, they made their romance public in August 2019.
Jeezy had initially planned to propose in Hoi An, Vietnam, in April 2020, but due to COVID-19-related travel restrictions, those plans were postponed.
During their relationship, they often shared their love for each other and their multicultural family. Jenkins organised a surprise trip to Vietnam for their second anniversary, stating that their cultures had brought them together.
