The news of their separation was confirmed by Princess Zulu herself, who shared the announcement on her Instagram page, accompanied by an old picture of her and Okmalumkoolkat.
In her post, she wrote:
“Amafu’s dad and I are no longer together #respectfully.”

Okmalumkoolkat, whose real name is Smiso Mkhasibe, and Princess Zulu tied the knot in December 2019.
This news of their impending divorce comes two months after the couple celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary.
During their anniversary celebrations, both Okmalumkoolkat and Princess Zulu took to their respective social media profiles to express their love and appreciation for each other.
Princess Zulu posted a heartfelt message on her timeline, saying:
“Happy 8 years of watering each other’s plants mngani wami ophaphayo. 8 no need to write something mushy up here, but ngizothi ‘Do you know what today is? It’s our anniversary.’ Dankie Ngyabonga.”

Alongside her message were shared images of the cherished moments they had experienced together.
Okmalumkoolkat also joined in the celebration, sharing pictures of them together at the 2023 Durban July event with the caption: “8 years ani.”
Okmalumkoolkat had not issued a public reaction to his soon-to-be ex-wife’s announcement when this article was published.
