In Brisbane, both Sam Pepper and Ice Poseidon were arrested under allegations of sexual assault.
The accusations stemmed from an incident where it was claimed that they paid for the services of a sex worker and subsequently set up a livestream, during which they filmed the sex worker in their hotel room.

Following this, both content creators faced legal action on charges related to sexual assault.
In the wake of considerable backlash and scrutiny, Ice Poseidon resurfaced to address the allegations and provide his perspective.
He asserted that the sex worker was fully aware that she was being filmed during the encounter and that the police had reviewed the video footage and deemed it to be entirely legal.
He stated:
“It wasn’t a ‘hidden camera,’ and I got swatted after, not arrested. Buck adding to the Twitter cancellation nonsense!!! Figure your stuff out, Twitter; it’s LEGAL content that even the police wrote off as LEGAL and safe.”

Poseidon’s checkered history with questionable content
These recent developments come in the wake of prior controversies involving Ice Poseidon. Just three months ago, he made headlines when he was filmed giving his girlfriend, Kimberly, a lap dance while dressed in nothing but black lingerie in a crowded restaurant in Bangkok.
The restaurant’s general manager criticized the streamer and his girlfriend for being “disrespectful to Thai culture and women” and insisted that they go to the local police station.
While the group offered to pay and leave, the manager was adamant about their lack of respect for the culture and refused their monetary offer.
Additionally, the hotel where the incident occurred requested that Ice Poseidon and his girlfriend provide a letter admitting guilt before they would be allowed to leave.
However, the streamer expressed confusion, stating that he had no knowledge of what crime he was supposedly guilty of committing.
Despite the initial tensions and demands, it was later confirmed that no laws had been broken, and no charges were filed against the streamer or his girlfriend.

In a subsequent update, Ice Poseidon claimed that he and his companions were required to return to the police station, accompanied by a lawyer, even though they had not been charged with any offences.
As the situation involving Ice Poseidon and Sam Pepper unfolds, the legal status of the allegations and the actions taken by law enforcement remain pending.
