Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are officially married. According to reports from TMZ, the American “it” couple tied the knot on 16 July 2022 after obtaining a marriage license in Las Vegas.

Lopez, 52, and Affleck, 49, wed witnessed by their five children from previous marriages. The actress took to her social media newsletter, On The JLo, to share exclusive behind-the-scenes content, from pictures to videos to the pink Cadillac, which was used by the late, Elvis Presley himself.
In the newsletter, she spills all the need-to-know tea about the two’s special day. She went on to write that the two flew to Vegas and waited in line for a license for hours.
She explained further that they barely made it to the chapel before it was time to close up. Fortunately, they were able to keep it open for a little longer for the ceremony to take place. Jen calls it her “dream wedding” and signs off with her new surname, “Jennifer Lynn Affleck,” and we can’t help but get all the feels.
The pop star seemingly had two dresses on the day of her wedding. In photos shared, the pop star could be seen modelling both dresses. While the “Gone Girl” actor looked like a million bucks in a white tux from his very own closet.
Back in April 2022, Jen announced her engagement to Affleck for the second time after rekindling their 2000s relationship. In a video clip posted on her newsletter, an ecstatic and tearful Lopez shows off her enormous green diamond ring, replaced by her previous pink ring, which Affleck proposed the first time around.
The two first announced their engagement in 2002, only to split up later down the line in 2004. The two went their separate ways, with separate marriages and separate lives. The reigniting of this fire just goes to show that love will always conquer all.
Love is always patient, as quoted by Jen, even if it is “twenty years patient.”
