South African media personality Bonang Matheba confirmed a new B*Dazzled episode would be up on her YouTube channel later this month, after what felt like a longwinded hiatus.
When is Bonang dropping new ‘B’Dazzled’ YouTube episode?
The star launched the channel in 2019, where she shared behind-the-scenes footage of her life and career, as well as fashion and beauty content.
Fans have been eagerly anticipating a follow-up to the release of the first episode, which featured behind-the-scenes footage from Matheba’s collaboration with Steve Madden.
Speaking on a recent radio interview with YFM, Matheba explained that the delay in releasing more episodes was due to the country’s mourning period, following a recent tragedy.
However, she revealed that she has been travelling and creating new content, and the second episode of B*Dazzled will be released on Friday, 28 April 2023.
Matheba acknowledged the frustration of her fans, known as BForce, who have been waiting for new content from her. She attributed her recent quietness to her age and personal growth, saying that as she has gotten older, she has become quieter.
She also mentioned that juggling her work and personal life had been another factor that had delayed the release of the next episode.
“I have been working, I know the BForce have been annoyed with me because they feel I’ve been quiet and not sharing, but I’ve gone much quieter and that’s only because I’m 35. The older you grow, the quieter you become, and that’s because I did all the shouting and dancing when I was 20,” she said.
Elsewhere, Matheba was unveiled as a new member of Netflix’s Young, Famous and African reality TV show that follows “a crew of famed, affluent stars as they work and play, flirt and feud in Johannesburg, South Africa.”
Season two of Young, Famous and African will premiere on Netflix on Friday, 19 May 2023.
