South African media personality, Bonang Matheba, will be gracing screens in season two of Netflix’s hit reality show Young, Famous and African. The star is known for her larger-than-life personality and is sure to add a new level of excitement to the show.

Matheba’s return to reality TV comes after a successful three-season run of her show Being Bonang, which aired on Mzansi Magic. She also ventured into the YouTube space earlier this year with her B*dazzled vlog channel, which she confirmed, in a tweet to fans, she has not abandoned.

Joining Matheba on season two of Young, Famous and African are Ghanaian-American rapper Fantana and former Big Brother Africa contestant Luis Munana, both of whom are set to bring their unique personalities to the show.
Season one’s all-star cast will also be returning to face unanswered questions and unresolved drama.
Viewers can expect to see the fallout from the chance encounter between Diamond Platnumz, Andile Ncube, and Zari Hassan, as well as the aftermath of the many arguments and drama that ensued between Khanyi Mbau and Nadia Nakai.
Ncube’s partner, model, and socialite Sebabatso Mothibi, as well as his baby’s mother, supermodel Rosette Ncwana, will also make an appearance on the show.
Season two of Young, Famous and African will premiere on Netflix on Friday, 19 May 2023. Fans are sure to be in for a wild ride as they follow the lives of some of Africa’s most famous and influential personalities.
