Beyonce’s Renaissance album: What else we know
On 30 June, Queen Bey posted on her Instagram, the cover art of her new album, which shows her posing on top of a glowing horse. In the caption, the singer shared what inspired the album in a lengthy post. The note read:
“Creating this album allowed me a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world. It allowed me to feel free and adventurous in a time when little else was moving. My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgment. A place to be free of perfectionism and overthinking. A place to scream, release, feel freedom. It was a beautiful journey of exploration.”
The singer then told her 269 million followers:
“I hope you find joy in this music. I hope it inspires you to release the wiggle. Ha! And to feel as unique, strong, and sexy as you are.”
No featured artists are confirmed for the upcoming album yet. However, fans should expect that the hitmaker’s new record will feature some dance and country tracks. Variety claims that her latest album will be a “new endeavour”, drawing inspiration from 20th-century American music.
Fans are also theorizing that the upcoming album may be the first of a series. Beyoncé’s website and Instagram bio state Renaissance as “act i.”
One of her titles, ‘America Has A Problem‘, has been trending online. Although the title suggests a reference to political issues, there is no information on what the song could specifically be about. Beyoncé, though, has never backed away from political topics, so fans can’t help but speculate what the record will have to offer.
