Beyoncé Knowles-Carter sent the BeyHive into complete pandemonium on social media, when her husband’s streaming service, TIDAL, announced that she is releasing music under the Renaissance banner in a month.

The news comes almost a week after the Houston songstress sent shockwaves of excitement across social media when she reset all of her profile pictures.
When is the release date?
But now we know, without a shred of doubt, that new Beyoncé music is on the way, and according to the Jay-Z-owned streaming service, it’s coming sooner than we might have anticipated.
Renaissance is scheduled to drop on Friday, 29 July 2022. At this juncture, it remains unclear if the drop is going to be a TIDAL exclusive, considering the fact that this is the sole platform Mrs Knowles-Carter used to make the announcement.
Is Renaissance an album or a single?
Very little information has accompanied the announcement of new music from Beyoncé. Therefore, it is unclear, as things stand, whether Renaissance is a full body of work or a single release. One would have to consider Queen Bey’s release history to get an inkling of what’s to come.
However, she did drop hints in her August 2021 Harper Bazaar cover issue about the music she was making during that period.
Back then, ‘Yonce told the magazine she felt “a renaissance emerging, and I want to be part of nurturing that escape in any way possible.”
“I’ve been in the studio for a year and a half. Sometimes it takes a year for me to personally search through thousands of sounds to find just the right kick or snare. One chorus can have up to 200 stacked harmonies. Still, there’s nothing like the amount of love, passion, and healing that I feel in the recording studio. After 31 years, it feels just as exciting as it did when I was nine years old. Yes, the music is coming!” she said at the time.
