Nasty C is working on his next studio album, and on Thursday, he gifted fans with his reimagined version of Drake’s Sticky.
Nasty C delivers top performance on ‘Sticky’ remix
The Zulu Man With Some Power has been in Los Angeles (LA), US, wrapping up his fourth studio album and somewhere in his ever-busy schedule, the 25-year-old found the time to deliver a punchy ‘C-mix’ to Sticky.
On the song, which you can stream below, Nasty pays homage to Drake by reciting his entire flow on one of the lead singles of his Dance album, Honestly, Nevermind.
While there is nothing of substance to pull from Nasty C’s performance on the ‘loosie’, he does do an outstanding job at drawing up quirky one-liners that, in essence, shape Drake’s artistry.
As we’d mentioned, Nasty is in LA, wrapping up his next album. Recently, the rapper took to social media to announce he was scouting US artists to provide guest verses on his project.
The last time we heard from Nasty C on wax was in February 2022 when he dropped Stalling, a ‘loosie’ he used to get vulnerable about issues he was confronting at the time.
No word has surfaced about what fans ought to expect on the next album or, better yet, when it’s scheduled to drop.
Nasty’s Sticky remix dropped on YouTube on Thursday, and, at the time this article was published, the video had garnered more than 20 000 views.
The actual song can be found on the rapper’s YouTube channel. He did, however, perform the freestyle on DJ Whoo Kid’s radio show, which you can watch below:
