The Savage rapper used this platform to set the record straight, addressing the swirling rumours and pointing fingers directly at who she believes is responsible.
During her IG Live session, Megan tackled the topic of her ex-friend, Kelsey Harris. She expressed disappointment in Kelsey’s silence since the incident, speculating whether this was due to fear or possibly being paid off. However, Megan was quick to clarify that Kelsey wasn’t the one who shot her.
Her focus then turned squarely to Tory Lanez. Megan didn’t hold back, insisting that Tory was the shooter. This statement comes amid a flood of social media speculation and conflicting narratives.

Adding another layer to the saga, a statement from Tory’s bodyguard, Jauquan Smith, who mysteriously disappeared before he was due to testify in the trial, recently surfaced in court.
The bodyguard, present on that fateful night, gave a detailed account of the events leading up to the shooting.
He described an argument between Megan and Tory, which escalated and involved Harris. While he mentioned seeing a gun in Harris’s hand, the bodyguard stopped short of identifying the shooter.

Elsewhere, Tory Lanez’s legal troubles have been mounting. His recent bid for an appeal was shot down in court. The judge’s decision was influenced by the nature of his crime, a history of disregarding court orders, and potential deportation risks, given that he’s not a US citizen.
Lanez was convicted of three charges, including first-degree assault with a firearm, discharge of a firearm with gross negligence, and carrying a concealed firearm in a vehicle.
He is currently serving a 10-year sentence at the notorious California state prison.
