Nzuzo Njilo, a South African businessperson and Faith Nketsi‘s husband allegedly fled his multimillion-rand mansion in Hyde Park after it was sold over a month ago.
Nzuzo Njilo is still on the run, KZN police launch manhunt
Njilo shared the property with his reality TV wife and their child. However, as confirmed by KZN police spokesperson Robert Netshiunda, Njilo is now wanted by the police in Port Shepstone for allegedly defrauding a businessperson, along with his business associate Kwanda Ntshangase.
According to Netshiunda, Njilo and Ntshangase allegedly defrauded a businessperson while selling him a truck. The two allegedly masqueraded as salesmen and received a substantial amount of money from the buyer but never delivered the truck.
In a separate matter, Nketsi’s husband is also wanted by the owners of Lund Industries for an outstanding debt of close to R1 million, which they incurred after paying Njilo for copper concentrate he never delivered in 2022.
Blaine Evans and James Stephens approached the high court for a writ of execution order to recover the R978 000 owed to them.
However, the only assets Lund Industries recovered so far was furniture worth approximately R35 000.
The representative from Bazooka Attorneys, which represents Lund Industries in the case, stated that they will contact the KZN police for a heads-up once Njilo is arrested.
As reported by City Press, Nketsi, who’s yet to address the matter reportedly resides in Rivonia with their daughter.
Meanwhile, police tracking her hubby’s whereabouts believe he’s hiding somewhere in KwaZulu-Natal, with the representative from Bazooka Attorneys stating that they are ready to fly down there as soon as he is arrested.
The Hyde Park mansion that Njilo and Nketsi shared was advertised on Property24 by the owner after they vacated the property. It was sold for R17 million, and Nketsi is said to have left the property two months ago.
