Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, made an epic return to the Drink Champs podcast, where he doubled down on his ‘defcon 3’ tweet about Jews and among other shockers, pretty much clarified speculation around Drake and Kris Jenner’s sexual history.
Three shockers from Kanye West ‘Drink Champs’ podcast
The 45-year-old rap-fashion billionaire returned for his first public appearance since the ‘anti-semitic” meltdown that effectively got him cancelled.
Or so his haters thought. Where neutral observers of the Ye meltdown expected him to display remorse for his polarising comments about Jews, Gabrielle Karefa-Johnson and Supreme creative director Tremaine Emory, the 45-year-old resurfaced with greater ferocity, elaborating further on his stance.
Here are three shockers from Kanye West’s recent appearance on the Drink Champs podcast
Why he went ‘defcon 3’ on Jews
In Ye’s world, nothing is a coincidence. Every thought that courses through his consciousness is provoked by something that affected him in real life.
This time around, the Yeezy billionaire explained to Drink Champs co-hosts N.O.R.E, and DJ EFN that the ‘defcon 3’ tweet, which culminated in him getting kicked off the platform, came after four shows he had booked at SoFi Stadium were cancelled following his explosive interview with Fox News‘ Tucker Carlson.
Of course, this news isn’t new and SoFi stadium officails, who spoke in anonymity with OutKick, dismissed this claim when Ye had ranted about it on Instagram last week.
Regardless, for Ye, the cancellation of his upcoming show was further proof of his firm belief that he was the target of a Jewish assault.
Ye suggests George Floyd was killed by fentanyl, not the knee
In his unusual way of elaborating on the polarising points he often makes about “the video game of life” or how black people are trapped in “collective consciousness”, Ye treaded on the thinnest ice he’s encountered when he referenced Candace Owens’ ‘Black Lives Matter’ documentary to make a disturbing claim about the death of George Floyd.
For a bit of reference, Floyd was killed by Minneapolis police officers on 25 May 2020. Officer Derek Chauvin was convicted and sentenced to 22 years imprisonment for Floyd’s death, and another 20 years for violating the man’s civil rights.
However, in Ye’s view, influenced, in part, by Owens’ ‘BLM’ exposé’, Floyd was actually killed by a high dose of fentanyl he’d consumed hours before his death.
Of course, this claim was discounted by an expert during the trial.
Ye hints that Drake had a sexual affair with Kris Jenner
For years, Drake’s acquaintance with the Kardashians, especially the matriarch, Kris Jenner, has been a subject of speculation in gossip forums. Well, on Sunday, Ye put the topic to bed when he suggested that Kris may have cheated on her boyfriend Corey Gamble with Drizzy.
