2022 Miss South Africa host and radiocaster Anele Mdoda may be used to social media backlash, but a level of concern ought to be felt after Nota Baloyi categorically targeted the comedian with threats.
What did Nota say to Anele Mdoda?
Mdoda was the subject of outrage on social media after she showed her support to Moshe Ndiki in a tweet that’s since gone viral.
Ndiki made headlines on Monday after his violent run-in with infamous celebrity gossiper Musa Khawula at White Lounge, Sunninghill, the night before.
It’s unclear what exactly prompted the alleged scuffle, but from what we understand, the Gomora actor turned up at White Lounge, where Khawula was partying with friends after the gossiper had posted wild claims about Ndiki’s property.
The confrontation resulted in Khawula being the subject of ridicule on social media, and Mdoda chimed in with a tweet that seemingly supported Ndiki’s alleged actions.
Anele Mdoda’s tweet was the only reason her detractors needed to hurl derogatory slurs toward the comedian. One of the commenters who reacted to Mdoda’s tweet was Baloyi.
In a series of tweets, Berita’s estranged husband scathingly accused Mdoda of being the beneficiary of apartheid, claiming the comedian mingled with former pre-democratic South Africa president P.W Botha as a child “while her own SELLOUT father was working for the government that imprisoned Nelson Mandela, killed Steve Biko & banned Robert Sobukwe’s PAC.”
Perhaps, the most disturbing comment came when Baloyi warned Mdoda that she was living on borrowed time.
Naturally, Mdoda has not, as yet anyway, paid any mind to Baloyi’s threats. Ndiki, on the other hand, has unfinished business with Khawula.
Despite the fact that Khawula has since filed an assault case against the actor, Ndiki released this warning to the celebrity gossiper who, by the way, is at the centre of an ongoing investigation into the murder of his former lover, Wandile Khambule.
