Nick Cannon and Alyssa Scott are set to welcome another bundle of joy into the world. This comes after the death of their son, Zen, in December 2021.
Nick Cannon and Alyssa Scott announce second pregnancy
As per ET, Scott took to her Instagram account to announce the news on Wednesday, 26 October 2022. She shared an Instagram photo of her baby bump while holding her daughter, Zeela.
“With you by my side….” the model captioned her past.
Although, after posting the picture, the model made her Instagram private. Even though Nick was not featured in the photo or tagged, Nick is named as the unborn baby’s father. Cannon is yet to confirm the pregnancy publically.
Nearly a year has passed since the passing of Zen, Scott’s second and Cannon’s seventh son. Cannon revealed on his since-cancelled daytime talk show that five-month-old Zen passed away from brain cancer and a subsequent tumour in December 2021.
In June 2022, the parents announced Zen’s Light Foundation in honour of their late son, with a mission to “foster global excellence in hope, grief-care, and pediatric healthcare for families and children in need.”
Rise Messiah, Nick’s 10th child with Brittany Bell, was born last month. Bell is also the mother of Nick’s two other children, son Golden, born in 2017, and daughter, Powerful Queen, born in 2020. With Bri Tiesi, Nick also has a son named Legendary Love and twin sons named Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir with Abby De La Rosa.
In addition, De La Rosa is set to give birth to his 11th child. He also shares twins, Moroccan and Monroe, with ex-wife Mariah Carey. For those counting (or trying to), Nick will eventually have a dozen children by six different women.
