Lerato Moloi is the subject of intense furore on social media after Tol Ass Mo’s interview on the MacG podcast went viral.
Tol Ass Mo MacG interview spurs calls for Lerato Moloi arrest
Mongezi ‘Tol Ass Mo‘ Ngcobondwane’s vengeful tirade, which launched in August 2022 when his rape case was thrown out of court, continued during his appearance on the MacG podcast.
The comedian targeted every female celebrity that stood by Moloi’s claims that she had been forcibly penetrated by Mo on the set of a TV production in Paarl, Western Cape, back in 2014.
According to Moloi’s version of the alleged rape, Mo had apparently found her lying face down on a bed and forced her to perform fellatio before penetrating her five times.
Moloi further claimed that she was inebriated at the time and Mo had allegedly taken full advantage of her inability to provide consent for the sexual intercourse.
In October 2022, Tol Ass Mo was vindicated when, with the help of a private investigating firm, a court dismissed the matter, citing a lack of conclusive evidence.
“As representatives of Mr and Mrs Mahlangu and family, we are dedicated to taking this case further: drastic steps will be taken against the accusers,” the statement from Mike Bolhuis read.”
At the time, Moloi had indirectly responded to the court outcome, claiming she felt “undeniable sadness” from “seeing rape apologists and enablers carry on as they do.”
The retired comedian got candid with the MacG podcast crew about the after-effects of being falsely accused
Reflecting on the backlash that followed Moloi’s gob-smacking revelations in 2020, Tol Ass Mo told the MacG podcast that his wife Mome Mahlangu found him attempting suicide on several occasions.
Moloi, who maintains her status as a rape survivor, has yet to issue a response to Tol Ass Mo’s fiery interview.
