Ye (formerly known as Kanye West) has resumed his 2024 US presidential campaign and is making headlines once again.
Kanye relaunches ‘YE 2023’ with Milo Yiannopoulos rehire
As reported by TMZ, West has brought back his former collaborator Milo Yiannopoulos into the mix.
Their first order of business was to fire Nick Fuentes, West’s controversial right-hand man.
Fuentes, a white nationalist who accompanied West during his trip to see Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago last year, was terminated from his position on Ye’s exploratory team.
Ali Alexander, another political advisor of West’s who was recently accused of asking teenage boys for sexual pictures, was also fired by Yiannopoulos.
Milo Yiannopoulos is now officially YE2024’s Director of Political Operations, and he has confirmed that he has been in Los Angeles for the past week, discussing West’s presidential aspirations.
This comes after he was reportedly removed from the campaign team last year after Ye’s controversial interview with Alex Jones. At that time, he reportedly blamed Nick and Ali for his firing.
Now that Yiannopoulos is back in the saddle, his next mission is to determine how serious West is about running for the White House. After that, the aim is to address the antisemitism West spewed for months, a controversial topic that has long plagued his campaign.
West’s presidential bid has been highly publicised since he announced his candidacy in 2020.
However, he failed to make the ballot in several states, including his home state of Illinois and garnered only 60 000 votes nationwide.
Nevertheless, West seems undeterred, and the return of Yiannopoulos could signify a renewed effort to win the presidency in 2024.
