Bianca Steenkamp turned to social media to break her silence on the alleged physical abuse she allegedly endured in her former relationship with South African rapper Ex Global.
Bianca Steenkamp shows battered face, allegedly assaulted by Ex Global
Details around the situation are still very much unclear, at this juncture. The former girlfriend of the ex-Wrecking Crew member found the courage to address the alleged abuse she endured in her relationship in a series of Instagram stories posted on Wednesday.
Steenkamp posted two images of her battered face, and another showing her bloody nails, seemingly from a violent fight she had with Ex Global, whose real name is Johannes Motalane.
It’s unclear when these images were taken, or rather when the incident occurred, but the first picture Steenkamp posted showed the side of her badly bruised eye, with what appears to be scratch marks on her cheeks.
The second picture is a close-up of the black eye which, according to Steenkamp, may have been caused by Ex Global.
The third picture shows her blood-soaked nail, and for the first time, Steenkamp categorically identifies Ex Global as the person who allegedly inflicted these injuries.
Steenkamp had not returned to our requests for comment at the time this article was published. While Ex Global has yet to address the damning allegations, Steenkamp leaked text messages from the up-and-coming rapper where he admits to beating her up.
“I’m truly sorry about everything from the bottom of my heart. Loving you and caring for you shouldn’t result to this. I take full responsibility of all my actions. I don’t know if I’m able to call and check up on you. I could only text now because I just woke up now, do let me know if I’m able to take you to get checked up and to check up on you,” he reportedly wrote.
This is a developing story.
