Bludbunz drops his debut EP ‘Currently California’

After enjoying a successful 2020, especially with his breakout single 25, the young rapper blessed us with his first official body of work titled Currently California.

Is Bludbunz ‘Currently California’ a trap masterpiece?

Immediately after listening to the intro to the tape will you realize this is a true gem in the trap genre of South African hip hop music.

The rapper graces some of the best trap beats infused with heavy 808s, rattling snares and loud bass that makes up some of the most impressive beats out there, especially on tracks like Cannot Count Me A Loss, Stepped Out and Bout It.

The rapper speaks on countless moments in his life as an aspiring rapper, dealing with his rise in the game, making money, dealing with the women in his life and reflecting on the good moments he has experienced while being in the music world.

The project has a variety of different upcoming artists all assisting on the project like the talented Phiwo, Tyson S.T, DoouShii, 6lack Lotus and Season98.

Currently California has been receiving countless positive reviews on social media so this can only be a good sign for the rapper.

Bludbunz: Is he next up in the trap movement?

Representing Pretoria, Bludbunz has barely been in the game only really exposing himself to the hip hop world in 2020.

The young rapper was mainly involved in the SoundCloud scene, releasing tracks like Woo and Truth Hurts, Huh?

However 2020 really proved to be his year after his release of his singles Chess, Bout It, IT IS WHT IT IS and 25 which even earned a remix alongside 3TWO1.

The rapper has yet to break into the mainstream world of music, however with a body of work like Currently California being created by the young trapper, it’s just a matter of time until he’s on the same level as Flvme, Zooci Coke Dope, Die Mondez or any other trap leaders in the game.

Make sure you check out the project out now on all platforms.
