Just when we thought Drake might be cooling off after his last album, he hits us with big news: Scary Hours 3 is dropping tonight.
Drake shakes up the scene with ‘Scary Hours 3’ reveal
He’s clearly riding a creative wave, shrugging off any need for a mysterious hiatus and saying these new songs just flowed out of him.
Remember all that talk earlier this year about Drake possibly taking a long break from music? Yeah, turns out that’s not happening. He did hint at slowing down during a candid chat on Table For One while promoting For All the Dogs. But, who knew he’d bounce back this quickly?
In that October interview, Drake got real about needing to prioritise his health.

He opened up about some ongoing stomach issues, saying he needed to step back and get himself right. While he mentioned maybe taking a year off, it seems his love for music just couldn’t wait.
“I probably won’t make music for a little bit. I’m going to be real with you. I need to focus on my health, first and foremost. I want people to be healthy in life, and I’ve been having the craziest problems for years with my stomach . . . So I need to focus on my health and I need to get right,” he said at the time.
The surprise announcement came hours after he released his awe-inspiring visuals for First Person Shooter featuring J. Cole.
It’s clear Drake is feeling the groove. He’s not about to step out of the limelight or let his creative juices stop flowing.
Scary Hours 3 is proof that when Drake’s in the zone, there’s no stopping him – not even his health concerns.
