Jack Harlow surprises fans with ‘Jackman’ album announcement
Details around the Dua Lipa rapper’s upcoming album are scarce, an unusual rollout campaign for a young student of the game. However, everything about Harlow’s movements does not, in any way, suggest he’s new to this.
Louisville native, Harlow, is no stranger to the limelight. The 24-year-old rapper, actor, and entrepreneur has established himself as one of the brightest stars in the music industry with six Grammy nominations, two number-one singles, and nearly 30 platinum certifications.
His career has amassed over 10 billion career streams to date, and he shows no signs of slowing down.
Harlow released his critically acclaimed debut album, That’s What They All Say in December 2020, which features the chart-topping, eight times platinum worldwide hit, What’s Poppin’.
The album earned him his first Grammy nomination for Best Rap Performance and a wide array of other award nominations.
In May 2022, Harlow released his Gold-certified sophomore album, Come Home The Kids Miss You, which reached even greater heights.
The album was highlighted by the bombastic Platinum-certified lead single Nail Tech and the chart-topping, multiple Grammy-nominated, double-platinum-selling single First Class.
The latter made a spectacular debut atop the Billboard ‘Hot 100’ marking Harlow’s first solo number-one single and earning the biggest streaming week of 2022.
But Harlow’s talents extend beyond the music industry. Later this year, he will make his acting debut, starring in the remake of the cultural classic, White Men Can’t Jump alongside Teyana Taylor, Vince Staples and Lance Reddick.
