The highly anticipated Rocking the Daisies music festivals, initially scheduled for October 2023, have been postponed to November 2023 due to severe flooding and unprecedented weather conditions in the Western Cape over the past five days.
2023 Rocking the Daisies postponed: When is the new date?
The festival organisers announced this decision on Wednesday, 27 September 2023.
As a result of the Cape Storm, Rocking the Daisies will now take place from 17 to 19 November 2023, in Cape Town, and on 19 November 2023 in Johannesburg.
The decision to reschedule both festivals was made to ensure the overall smooth running of the events and to accommodate the logistical challenges faced by artist teams, who would have to make multiple long journeys within already tight schedules.
How to process a ticket refund for Rocking the Daisies
For festival-goers who have purchased Rocking the Daisies combo and Daisyland tickets, these tickets will be automatically valid for the new dates.
However, a refund window will also be open via Quicket from 3 to 6 October 2023 for those who prefer to seek a refund.
Are Stormzy, JID and Vamps still part of the festival lineup?
The festival’s lineup, featuring headliners such as Stormzy, J.I.D, the Vamps, Denzel Curry, Westside Boogie, Greentea Peng, and others, has been rescheduled to align with the new festival dates.
The organisers are diligently working with artist teams to minimize lineup changes.
“Our hearts go out to all those affected by the weather disaster that has hit the Western Cape,” organisers wrote.
