The carnage that was left by driver-by shooters on Duff Road, near KwaMashu, KZN, was captured on footage and spread like wildfire on social media.

Authorities from the area have not released any statements on what transpired but according to reports on social media, the violent encounter between a group of unidentified suspects and the victims you will see in the video below could have something to do with the ongoing taxi war in the region.
Moreover, the victims in this video are believed to be hitmen who are often hired to execute killings in the taxi turf war.

However, this ought to be taken with a grain of salt since there is no confirmation of this from authorities.
According to @crimeairnetwork, a renowned crime reporter and microblogging, these alleged hitmen were allegedly taken out by another team of taxi hitmen.
Officers film the carnage, mock victims
A team of responding officers could be seen searching the wrecked vehicle carrying the victims. What’s more disturbing is how the officers were casually filming the carnage and neglecting the two victims who appeared to be showing signs of life.
Instead, the officers were mocking the entire occasion and trampling all over the crime scene, destroying potential forensic evidence that could be used against the perpetrators in court.
