The NPA spokesperson, Phindi Mjonondwane, confirmed that criminal charges against six accused individuals were withdrawn. The decision was reached after the prosecuting unit determined that pursuing successful prosecutions was unlikely due to witnesses fearing for their safety or losing their lives.
