To lighten the load of boredom at a time where half the world is in quarantine, Google has granted gamers access to premium features of Stadia Pro.
What is Stadia Pro?
Google took to it’s blog to rolled out the freemium gaming package on Wednesday.
Stadia Pro is a cloud-based gaming platform that hosts arcade games such as GRID and Destiny 2: The Collection in 4K resolution.
Which countries are included in this sweet deal?
Gamers can access the limited free membership but Google has sweetened the deal.
The pro package that packs more access to games and high-resolution gaming with a price tag of $9.99 (R180.71) per month is now available for free for the next two months.
While Google mentions in it’s blog that the special is available in 14 countries, they aren’t listed.
How to sign up and enjoy Google Stadia Pro
So, if you are keen on getting into some serious cloud-based action, use these instructions to sign up to Stadia Pro:
- Go to Stadia.com to sign up
- Download the Stadia app on Android or iOS
- Play on your laptop, desktop or Chrome OS tablet with your favorite (HID compliant) USB supported controller or mouse and keyboard
- Play over Wi-Fi on Pixel or many supported Android phones
It is important to note that once the two-month trial expires, Stadia will charge the monthly fee to your account.
You can cancel the subscription at any time before the expiration date, at no cost.
