Sony has published the PlayStation Plus free games catalogue for April 2024, which features a slew of exciting PS5 and PS4 titles available to paid subscribers.

Sony’s Content Acquisition and Operations Director Adam Michel confirmed this month’s free games will be available to PlayStation Plus subscribers from Tuesday, 2 April 2024.
Immortals of Aveum | PS5
Immortals of Aveum is a unique blend of magic and first-person shooter gameplay, developed by Ascendant Studios and published by Electronic Arts.
The game, which launched on 22 August 2023, for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S, ventures into the realm of spellcasting combat with a refreshing twist.
Although it received mixed reviews and encountered challenges in sales, leading to significant layoffs at Ascendant Studios, it presents a distinctive gaming experience.
The core of the game revolves around Jak, a character who joins an elite group of battlemages embarking on a critical mission to save their world from the brink of destruction.
This journey is not just about combat; it’s a quest filled with magic, mystery, and a deep dive into the world of Aveum’s rich history and its troubled past. Minecraft Legends is an action-strategy game set within the iconic blocky universe of Minecraft.
It introduces a fresh narrative and gameplay mechanics, diverging from the original game’s focus on building and survival. In Minecraft Legends, players embark on a quest to unite the Overworld’s various mobs and defend their realm against an invading force of piglins from the Nether.
The game combines real-time strategy elements, such as commanding armies and building fortifications, with the action-oriented combat and exploration Minecraft is known.
