Former ANC leader Zanele Sifuba is at the centre of a sextape scandal that, more than anything, is a severe violation of her right to privacy.
Zanele Sifuba sextape leaks online
The former member of parliament surfaced in an explicit video posted by a ‘Musa Khawula‘ variant on Twitter.
Details around the leak are still sketchy at this time but according to murmurs spreading online, it’s believed Sifuba was a victim of extortion. The source of the leak is also unknown at this stage.
The former ANC leader garnered support on social media, with many voices calling on user accounts to stop spreading the Zanele Sifuba sextape.
For the most part, commenters recognised that beyond the viral moment, Sifuba’s right to privacy was severely violated.
“What happened to mam Zanele Sifuba is really unfortunate and it can happen to any of us, can we please refrain from reposting and sharing that video. If anything let’s report it in numbers. No woman deserves this,” one user wrote

Prince Kaybee reacts to Sifuba video
Top-selling producer Prince Kaybee also condemned the incident. In a tweet, the hitmaker recalled how disappointed his mother was when explicit images of his privates did the rounds on social media.
“When I look at the Zanele Sifuba unfortunate incident I remember being on the phone with my mother for over an hour after my Dick was doing rounds. Had never heard her so disappointed, she cried throughout the call and I haven’t been able to forgive myself….,” he wrote.

Neither the ANC nor Sifuba’s representatives had issued a statement at the time this article was published.
Sifuba is a prominent ANC leader in the Free State. She’s served as a speaker of the provincial legislature since 2019. Not much is known about Sifuba but, according to her Wikipedia page, last edited on Wednesday, 9 November 2022, the former ANC MP may have a background in education and teaching.
It’s also said she has three daughters and a son.
This is a developing story.
