William Tsintsibala Dlamini mysterious death at OR Tambo raises eyebrows
The news of this tragic incident was first reported by Swaziland News earlier in the day.
According to the report, Commissioner Dlamini was returning from Angola where he had attended a meeting organised by the International Police Organisation (INTERPOL).
The Commissioner reportedly collapsed around 04:00 while awaiting a flight back to the Kingdom of Eswatini.
The confirmation of the Commissioner’s death came from a senior government official, who requested anonymity as the news had not yet been officially conveyed to the King of Eswatini.
Moreover, a police officer, who spoke to the cited publication before the government official confirmed the news, revealed that the Commissioner was indeed in Angola attending an INTERPOL meeting.
“I am off from work but, he was away attending an INTERPOL meeting in Angola,” the officer said.
Coincidentally, the death of Commissioner Dlamini comes at a critical juncture as his contract was nearing its expiration.
He was known to be a trusted servant of King Mswati III.
The cause of his death remains unknown at this juncture.
This is a developing story.
