Watch: Meyerton man hurls ‘k-word’ outside Midvaal Slaghuis
Details around the viral clip are still sketchy, but a caucasian man who’s yet to be name-and-shamed was filmed hurling the ‘k-word’ in full view of a crowd of black people, who must be credited for averting what could have been a catastrophic situation.
It’s unclear what prompted the fiery encounter, but the video you will see below starts with a black man on the ground, seemingly in defence of the stocky caucasian towering over him.
In his hand, he held what appeared to be a sharp object he used to warn the Meyerton man about what would happen if he called him the ‘k-word’ again.
The audio of the footage could not pick up the caucasian man’s utterances, partly due to the fact that the person recording the tense scenes that unfolded outside Midvaal Slaghuis was screaming in defence of the black man.
Both men stood a few feet apart from each other as crowds gathered to witness this buoyant display of racism.
“I am not a k*****; stop calling me a k*****. I promise I will stab you to death,” the knife-wielding man warned.
However, his threats did nothing to discourage the Meyerton man from hurling more racial slurs while flipping the bird. Things could’ve escalated into a bloody affair but, thankfully, triggered eyewitnesses, who, at that point, had swarmed around the man, managed to convince the knife wielder to retreat.
The rest of the video shows the caucasian man taunting and hurling ‘k-words’ at onlookers,
From what we understand, no persons were injured in the tense encounter. Also, the identity of the Meyerton man was not known at the time this article was published.
