Former Wits University classmates of disgraced doctor Nandipha Magudumana came forward with shocking claims about her alleged lavish tastes and preferences for wealthy men.

In an interview with ZiMoja, the classmates recounted how Magudumana stood out from the crowd with her daring dress sense and expensive taste.
According to the unnamed sources, Magudumana was already driving a rare SAAB convertible in her first year of medicine, while others relied on the free campus bus.
Her expensive taste extended to her wardrobe, with the doctor often seen wearing clothes that accentuated her figure and showed off her cleavage and legs.
Despite her affinity for the finer things in life, her classmates also praised Magudumana for being a serious student who took her studies seriously.
“One thing I liked about her was that she was very smart and took her studies seriously,” one former classmate said.
However, in light of the recent scandal surrounding Magudumana, who is currently in jail facing several charges, including murder and assisting Thabo Bester’s daring prison escape, her former classmates believe it is highly possible that the disgraced doctor may have been dating the convicted rapist and murderer by the time she was at university.
The source pointed to her mysterious and aloof demeanour, saying “If the reports that she started dating this guy in 2006 are true it would make perfect sense why her behaviour was like that, and why she always dressed fancy in the first year and drove an expensive Swedish car at that age.”
Meanwhile, Magudumana’s father, Zolile Cornelius Sekeleni, was recently granted bail in the Bloemfontein magistrate’s court. The state did not oppose bail for Sekeleni, which was set at R10 000. He is scheduled to appear in court again on 16 May 2023.
The scandal surrounding Magudumana has rocked South Africa’s celebrity and medical communities, with many distancing themselves from the disgraced doctor.
As the investigation continues, more details are likely to emerge about Magudumana’s past and her possible involvement in the “Facebook Rapist” case.
