This order includes an additional 55 Boeing 777-9s and 35 Boeing 777-8s, a prime acquisition that brings Emirates’ total orders for the 777X wide-body jets to 205 units, solidifying its position as a leading global carrier.
In addition to the 777X wide-body jets, Emirates is enhancing its fleet with an updated order of Boeing 787 Dreamliners, now totalling 35, per CNBC.
This order is comprised of 15 787-10s and 20 787-8s. Furthermore, Emirates has confirmed the order of 202 General Electric GE9X engines, which are essential for powering the new 777X aircraft.
The total GE9X engine order from Emirates now stands at 460, amplifying a robust future for long-haul travel.
