PlayStation is set to return three months later to showcase new product features, game teasers and the latest developments in virtual reality gaming at the next State of Play event.
PlayStation State of Play: Here’s what to expect
Avid gamers across the globe will be anticipating the showcase, which returns for the second time this year. In a statement, PlayStation confirmed the virtual event will take place on Thursday, 2 June 2022 from 15:00 PST.
“We’ll have some exciting reveals from our third-party partners, plus a sneak peek at several games in development for PlayStation VR2,” the statement read.
As gaming geeks at IGN suggest, it seems unlikely that this broadcast will focus a great deal of attention on original, first-party exclusives. Instead, leading third-party developers will be offered approximately 30 minutes to showcase the excitement that awaits in the near future.
