Fortnite OG celebrates nostalgia with the launch of Battle Royale Chapter 4 Season, revisiting the game’s origins.
‘Fortnite OG’ returns with ‘Battle Royale Chapter 4’
Fortnite OG has introduced Battle Royale Chapter 4 Season, taking players on a nostalgic journey through the game’s history. The season is designed to revisit the past, starting with the elements from Chapter 1 Season 5.
As part of the experience, players will encounter a rotation of classic features, including unvaulted weapons like the Assault Rifle and Pump Shotgun, vehicles such as Shopping Carts and All Terrain Karts, and the strategic depth of building in both the Battle Royale and Zero Build modes.
The updates will not only bring back gear but also iconic locations and elements from each season.
For example, Season 5 will see the return of the world-colliding environments, while Season 6 will resurrect the dark theme of Loot Lake, complete with weapons and vehicles like the Quadcrasher and Mounted Turret.
The later seasons, such as 7 and 8, will reintroduce elements like the snow biome, Frosty Flights, and pirate camps, along with the appropriate thematic gear.
Fast-forwarding to Seasons 9 and X, players can expect a return to the futuristic gameplay elements and the unstable world dynamics that marked those periods in the game’s evolution.
Additional features to look out for: OG Pass and Item Shop
To enhance the throwback experience, Fortnite OG also debuts the OG Pass and the OG Item Shop.
The OG Pass offers players a chance to unlock over 50 in-game items within four weeks.
Priced at 950 V-Bucks, it also allows players to earn up to 1,000 V-Bucks through progress, effectively refunding their investment.
Those subscribed to Fortnite Crew will receive the OG Pass as part of their subscription benefits.
