A lawsuit has been filed against Megan Thee Stallion by a former cameraman, Emilio Garcia, alleging harassment and an uncomfortable work environment during a trip to Ibiza, Spain.
Megan Thee Stallion lawsuit: Here’s what the cameraman claims
Garcia, who was Megan Thee Stallion’s personal cameraman from 2018 to 2019 and later worked as a freelancer, has lodged complaints about his treatment while working for the rapper.
According to Garcia, during a trip in 2022, he was coerced into an unsettling situation where he was trapped in a vehicle with Megan and another woman while they engaged in sexual activities.
Garcia described feeling “uncomfortable” and “frozen” during the incident. He alleges that Megan ordered him to remain silent about what he witnessed the following day.
Furthermore, Garcia claims he faced derogatory comments about his weight from Megan, which contradicted her public advocacy for body positivity.
Post the incident, Garcia reports a change in his pay structure and eventual termination of his employment by Roc Nation in June 2023.
Has Megan responded to the allegations?
As of now, Megan Thee Stallion has not publicly responded to the lawsuit.
She is currently preparing for her upcoming ‘Hot Girl Summer Tour‘, set to start on 14 May 2024.
The lack of a formal response leaves the public and her fans waiting for her side of the story as the court date approaches.
