Socialite and well-renowned x-rated entertainer Zodwa Wabantu could be in serious trouble if the woman accusing her of assault files a criminal complaint against her.
Zodwa Wabantu in hot water over assault claims
The woman, Naniki Mokoena, took to social media to detail the alleged events that transpired at a party held at Recharge Lounge in Midrand, Gauteng, this past weekend.
From her account, Mokoena claims that she and her friends were seated next to Zodwa, who was with her ‘cub’, Olefile Mpudi, otherwise known on social media as ‘Ben 10’ or ‘Ricardo’.
Mokoena added Mpudi could not keep his eyes away from their table and when she and her friends got to dancing at an open area of their section, Zodwa approached their table and said something to the effect of “she acts stupid but she’s not, she sees everything.”
Not taking much stock in this warning from a woman seemingly protecting her territory, Mokoena and friends kept dancing away, in full view of Mpudi, who may have been entranced by everything but the person he came with — and, apparently, this did not sit well with Zodwa.
A simple bump of the shoulders between Mokoena and Zodwa quickly escalated into a brawl. Mokoena alleges she was slapped in the face by the celebrity entertainer and soaked with champagne.
“I went to the manager of Recharge Lounge but they did nothing my friends even tried to fight her but she left immediately,” Mokoena explained.
Zodwa responds: Claims woman made advances towards her
In a response to the backlash that followed Mokoena’s revelations, Zodwa admitted that a scuffle did, in fact, take place between the two ladies but what was not revealed is that Mokoena had allegedly made unwanted advances towards her and Mpudi.
“I’m not a violent person. She wanted me and I did not give myself to her … I didn’t even care what she was doing with my boyfriend. I just paid my bill and left her with those Nigerian men,” she told Sunday World.
At this time, it is not known if the woman has pressed charges against Zodwa.
