Rapper Post Malone bruised his ribs when he fell through an opening in the stage during his performance in St Louis, Missouri, on Saturday, 17 September 2022.

According to CNN, medics rushed in and eventually flanked him as he left the stage. He asked fans to give him a few minutes to collect himself, but clearly, everyone was concerned, and some doubted he would even return.

About 15 minutes later, Malone resurfaced and performed Rockstar and Cooped Up. Despite the hiccup, the Circles singer ultimately did not miss a beat. Malone returned to the stage and thanked the crowd for hanging in there and even apologised. He finished the show and even stayed after to sign a few autographs.

The singer says that during the acoustic part of his show, there’s an area on stage that opens up to lower instruments, which he apparently forgot about as he walked around and fell right through it.
Although the fall “winded me pretty good,” Malone said, “everything’s good” following his return from the hospital.
“I just want to apologise to everyone in St Louis, and I want to say thank you guys so much for coming to the show. And next time I’m around this way, we’re going to do a two-hour show for you so we can make up for the couple missed songs that we missed,” he added.
Malone’s manager, Dre London, also shared a status update on the rapper’s condition on Sunday.
“Thank you everyone for all your well wishes! Post Malone didn’t break 3 ribs last nite thank god,” London wrote. “We did X-rays (at the) hospital after the show and they declared he had bruised his ribs! In true Posty fashion loving his fans he finished the show! I truly don’t know any artist like him.”
Malone is scheduled to continue his Twelve Carat Tour in Columbus on Sunday, 25 September 2022.
