The brawl between Nota Baloyi and famed rapper Tumi ‘Stogie T’ Molekane is still a hot topic and recently, an unknown source posted footage of the fiery encounter.

It seems Baloyi was not exaggerating facts when he claimed that he’d pinned Molekane to the ground and left his t-shirt in shreds. Here’s a video clip of the fight that’s gone viral on social media.

Stogie T issues his side of the story
Tracing the origins of this odd beef is tricky, to say the least. From what we understand, Nota simply has no respect for the rapper and at any opportunity he’s gotten in the past, he was sure to let his fans know.
According to the former RapLyf associate, he decided to approach Stogie T at an event this past weekend after he’d heard from a close friend, a few weeks ago, that the rapper was looking for him.
Based on Nota’s version of events, Molekane’s encounter with this unknown friend ended in fisticuffs and it’s alleged the rapper “struck a black woman’s jaw with a clenched fist in the ensuing chaos.”
However, Stogie, in a statement released on Monday, rubbished these claims and dismissed Nota as a “clout-chasing clown”.
“Yesterday (Sunday), at an event touted as bringing hip hop together for the love of the culture, I was minding my own business when Nota encroached my section. I interpreted this as a provocation and gestured for him to leave and an unfortunate fracas ensued. I regret that it had to get to all that and would like to extend my deepest apologies to my wife, my family, my church and the hip hop community,” he wrote.
Baloyi, on the other hand, claims he was acting in self-defence and it was the rapper who swung at him first. At this time, no criminal charges have entered the fray in a rap beef that may escalate further.
