Amapiano fans are still reeling from the shock of the deaths of Mpura, Killer Kau, Khanya ‘The Voice’ Hadebe and two others who passed away in a fatal car crash this past long weekend.

Six people were involved in a fatal car accident on the N4 in Rustenburg, North West, close to the Marikana toll gate on Saturday 7 August.
One car held five occupants, Mpura, Killer Kau, Hadebe, Thando Tot and HD, Amapiano rising stars who, according to reports, were headed to an event.
The other vehicle, it’s believed, was occupied by a victim known only as ‘Bra Sanza’. All six people involved in the head-on collision lost their lives that fateful evening.
Days later, with the entertainment community struggling to move on from a shocking untimely loss of lives, footage of the wreckage scene was leaked on social media, showing the vehicle believed to be carrying the artists in total ruins.

Police confirm culpable homicide investigation is ongoing
On Friday, Hadebe will be honoured in Braamfontein, Johannesburg, at a remembrance event that is open to the public. The Amapiano artists who died that day will also be honoured at a number of social events scheduled for this weekend.
Back at police headquarters in North West, detectives assigned to the car crash investigation have confirmed that culpable homicide is being considered as a possible cause.
At this time, police have not concluded their probe.
