Latasha Kebe, renowned by her ‘unwiners’ as Tasha K, has no intentions of clearing her $4 million (est. R70.8 million) debt with Cardi B.
Tasha K clears Chase Bank account to spite Cardi B
The infamous YouTube gossiper posted a video on her Instagram page, informing fans she’s giving away the last bit of money in her Chase Bank account, $1 083.02 (est. R19 167) to be exact, to a lucky winner.
Tasha K explained she could have kept the remaining balance to herself but decided to use it as part of a giveaway challenge.
“I could use it, but [I’m going to] give it to you, and the reason [I’m going to] give it to you is because I feel that what you will need it for is way more important than what I could use it for, okay?” she said.
Tasha’s troll attempt came on the heels of reports suggesting Cardi B, whose week on social media has been polarising, to say the least, has launched the process of seizing the gossiper’s assets to recoup the $4 million lawsuit bill she’s owed.
As reported by RadarOnline, the Hot Sh*t rapper’s lawyers approached Chase Bank with a seizure notice for Tasha K’s bank account. The financial institution, compelled to respect the court’s ruling, returned to Cardi B with a report that Tasha K’s personal and business account balance was $1 083.02.
In the video she posted, Tasha K admitted the news about her bank balance was accurate.
“I just checked my account. The news out there is really real… I came from Africa, off the plane, and that’s what I saw in the bank,” she explained.
In April 2022, Cardi B was granted financial relief totalling $4 million in a lawsuit she filed against Tasha K for making defamatory and false statements about the rapper’s sexual health.
Tasha K, in numerous episodes of her YouTube show UnWineWithTashaK, blasted Cardi B as an alleged prostitute who slept her way to the top and, along the way, carried several sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), like herpes and HPV.
Tasha K also claimed Cardi B was a cocaine addict, and despite a court ruling compelling her to remove all traces of the defamatory content on her social media platforms, the YouTuber remains defiant and is, instead, appealing the case.
In August 2022, Tasha K raised eyebrows when she posted a series of pictures and videos on her social media pages, suggesting she had fled to Africa in a bid to avoid the $4 million bill.
Turns out, this was yet another troll attempt she used to garner engagement on social media.
