The South Africa weather forecast for Wednesday shows a range of conditions, including heatwave conditions in Gauteng and parts of the North West.

Heatwave conditions resulting in high temperatures above the average maximum are expected in Gauteng and eastern parts of the North West until Friday.
Eastern Cape
The western half of the province will be partly cloudy and warm weather is expected, but it will be cool in places along the coast. Winds along the coast will shift from moderate south-easterly to fresh north-easterly by the evening.
The eastern half, on the other hand, is expected to be partly cloudy with fog patches in places south of the escarpment at first. Otherwise, conditions will be fine and cool.
Free State
The province will experience morning fog in the east. Otherwise, conditions will be fine and warm to hot.
Gauteng
Weather is predicted to be fine and hot, with an extreme UVB sunburn index.
KwaZulu-Natal
Morning fog over the interior is expected, followed by partly cloudy and cool conditions. The UVB sunburn index is expected to be very high.
Limpopo
Cloudy in the east with morning fog and drizzle along the escarpment. Elsewhere, it will be partly cloudy and cool to warm, but hot to very hot in the south-west.
Mpumalanga
The forecast suggests cloudy conditions in the east with morning fog and drizzle along the escarpment. Otherwise, it will be partly cloudy and cool to warm.
North West
Fine and hot to very hot conditions are expected in the North-West Province.
Northern Cape
Fine and warm to hot conditions are expected, becoming very hot in the north-west. The wind along the coast will be fresh south-westerly.
Western Cape
The east will be cloudy to partly cloudy in the morning. The rest of the province will be fine and cool to warm. The UVB sunburn index is expected to be very high.
