Eastern Cape
In the west, the morning will be cloudy, then turning partly cloudy and cool, with isolated showers and rain along the coast and adjacent interior. It will be warm in places in the north. Coastal winds will be moderate to fresh easterly.
In the east, the east will be cold in places, otherwise, expect cloudy and cool conditions with isolated showers and rain, except in the extreme north. Scattered showers along the coast and adjacent interior. Coastal winds will be fresh to strong easterly to northeasterly.
Free State
The southwestern region will be fine and hot, while the rest of the province will experience partly cloudy skies and warm weather. The east may see isolated showers and thundershowers, with cloudy conditions in the morning.
Gauteng
The province will see cloudy skies in the east, with partly cloudy and warm conditions elsewhere. Isolated showers and thundershowers are expected. The UVB sunburn index is extreme.
KwaZulu-Natal
The interior will have morning fog patches, while the rest of the province will be cloudy and cool. Isolated showers and thundershowers are anticipated, with scattered showers and rain along the coast and adjacent interior. Coastal winds will shift from moderate south-easterly to moderate to fresh easterly to north-easterly by late morning. The UVB sunburn index is low.
Limpopo
The eastern region will be cloudy with morning drizzle over the escarpment, then turning partly cloudy and cool to warm with isolated thundershowers.
Mpumalanga
Morning drizzle and fog patches will affect the escarpment area, giving way to a cloudy and cool to warm day. Isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers are anticipated, with skies clearing in the west by afternoon.
North West
A fine and hot day is forecasted, becoming very hot in the west. Partly cloudy conditions with isolated showers and thundershowers will develop in the extreme east during the afternoon.
Northern Cape
The north-east will be very hot, while the rest of the province will be fine and warm to hot. The coastal region will start cool, becoming partly cloudy with fresh to strong southerly to south-easterly winds.
Western Cape
The eastern part will be cloudy initially, then becoming partly cloudy and warm to hot. The south coast will be cooler with isolated showers and rain in the south-west. Winds along the coast will be moderate to fresh easterly to south-easterly. The UVB sunburn index is extreme.
