Eastern Cape
In the west, expect morning fog in the interior, followed by fine and warm weather, but cooler conditions along the cloudy coast. Coastal winds will be light to moderate north-easterly at first, turning moderate to fresh easterly.
In the east, the coast will be cool and cloudy, while the interior will be partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers. Coastal winds will be light to moderate south-easterly early morning, turning moderate to fresh north-easterly.
Free State
Morning fog in some areas, followed by partly cloudy skies and warm temperatures. Expect isolated showers and thundershowers in the central region and scattered in the extreme east.
Gauteng
Cloudy in the morning, then partly cloudy with isolated showers and thundershowers. The UVB sunburn index is extreme.
KwaZulu-Natal
Morning fog in the interior will give way to cloudy and cool conditions with scattered showers and thundershowers. Coastal winds will be moderate southerly to south-easterly, turning easterly to north-easterly in the afternoon. The UVB sunburn index is low.
Limpopo
After morning fog over the escarpment, expect partly cloudy conditions and warm temperatures with scattered showers and thundershowers.
Mpumalanga
Morning fog will cover the escarpment, giving way to partly cloudy skies and cool temperatures with scattered showers and thundershowers. The Lowveld will be warm.
North West
The day will be partly cloudy and warm to hot, with isolated showers and thundershowers in the far east by the afternoon.
Northern Cape
The coast will be partly cloudy and cool in the morning, and then the rest of the province will be fine and warm to hot. Coastal winds will be moderate to fresh southerly to south-easterly.
Western Cape
The northeast will be cloudy in the morning, then becoming partly cloudy and cool to warm elsewhere, but hot in places over the western and eastern interior. Coastal winds will be moderate to fresh southerly to south-easterly. The UVB sunburn index is extreme.
