Eastern Cape
In the western half, cloudy and cool along the coast, otherwise warm to hot and fine, becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon with possible light rain in the southeast. Expect fresh to strong south-westerly winds, moderating in the evening.
The east is expected to be hot to very hot and fine, turning cloudy with isolated showers and thundershowers; with light rain in the southwest. Winds will be fresh northeasterly, becoming fresh to strong southwesterly from the south during the morning.
Free State
Partly cloudy, windy, and hot with isolated afternoon thundershowers, except in the northern part
Gauteng
Fine and warm, turning hot in the north and partly cloudy in the southwest by the afternoon. The UVB sunburn index is expected to be extreme.
KwaZulu-Natal
Morning fog patches in interior areas, then fine and warm to hot, very hot in places over the interior. Partly cloudy in the afternoon with isolated showers and thundershowers, except in the north.
Moderate to fresh north-easterly winds, becoming south-westerly from the south by late morning. The UVB sunburn index is extreme.
Limpopo
Partly cloudy and warm to hot, becoming fine by mid-morning.
Mpumalanga
Hot in the Lowveld, otherwise partly cloudy and warm, clearing to fine weather during the day.
North West
Partly cloudy, windy, and hot.
Northern Cape
Fine, windy, and hot to very hot, extremely hot in the extreme north. Becoming partly cloudy in the east in the afternoon. Winds along the coast will be fresh south to south-easterly.
Western Cape
Cloudy along coastal and adjacent interior areas initially, then fine and cool, warming over the interior. Cloudy with light rain in the extreme southwest by the evening. Winds along the coast will be moderate south-westerly. The UVB sunburn index is extreme.
