Social media has been in turmoil since reports came out alleging Rihanna is pregnant with the child of US rapper and boyfriend ASAP Rocky.
Where did the ‘Rihanna is pregnant’ rumour originate?
This is not the first time Robyn Fenty‘s been linked to a pregnancy. In fact, it was only two months ago when rumours of Rihanna’s pregnancy broke the internet, with fake news spreaders going as far as doctoring images of the pop star at September’s Met Gala to push the narrative.
Coincidentally, more than two months later, the reports have resurfaced and this time, origins of the ‘Rihanna is pregnant’ claim can be traced to this tweet, posted by a person named Benjamin Enfield who, according to his Muck Rack profile, founded The Academy, an online music business faculty.

Responding in a since-deleted tweet, the WAP rapper blasted Enfield as a scammer who “pays for promo so people can believe he a part of the industry with that bought blue check to scam new artists.”
No official confirmation has come from either Rihanna or Rocky, let alone their handlers and reputable news leakers like TMZ, on the pregnancy.
In the midst of the social media meltdown, Bad Gal Riri was in Barbados to attend a Pride of the Nationhood ceremony held in honour of the island officially breaking loose from the colonial grasp of Queen Elizabeth to become a Republic.
The first order of business for Prime Minister Mia Mottley was to bestow Rihanna with the title of National Hero.
“On behalf of a grateful nation, but an even prouder people, we therefore present to you the designee for national hero of Barbados, Ambassador Robyn Rihanna Fenty,” Mottley said, inviting the singer up to stand alongside her.
“May you continue to shine like a diamond and bring honour to your nation by your words, by your actions, and to do credit, wherever you shall go,” she sai
