Baby momma number three, Maralee Nichols, gave birth to her baby boy on Friday but what’s got the virtual world in shock are the leaked texts sent by NBA star Tristan Thompson to the Texas-based personal trainer.
Maralee Nichols leaks texts sent by Tristan Thompson
As reported by Page Six, Nichols welcomed her offspring at a maternity labour ward in Mara del Rey, California, where she recently moved.
In an Instagram post that has since been deleted, along with her profile, Nichols captioned a photo of a Cali sunset with:
“I’m learning to focus on the beautiful things around me instead of all of the negative things. Things feel very hard right now but I know eventually, this will all be over and my baby boy and I can live a happy life. I made a mistake, but I’m human. I won’t be posting any personal photos for awhile as I don’t want to hurt my family. Thanks in advance for understanding.”
The hardships Nichols speaks of in the caption are related to her ongoing court feud with the Sacramento Kings’ power forward.
The personal trainer from Houston, Texas, is suing Thompson for child support and from what we understand, the NBA star has every intention to ensure that the courts have her sent back to Houston, TX, where the monthly allocations in such disputes are capped.
In a shocking revelation, Maralee Nichols leaked a message sent by the basketball player where he forced her into aborting the baby, making it very clear that he had no intentions of being involved in his son’s life.
The text message which has since been filed as evidence by Nichols’ legal team, first reported by News York Post, shows how Thompson attempted to get rid of Nichols with a payment of R1.21 million ($75 000), making it clear that this was the most she would get from him as he was retiring as a professional basketball player in 2022.
From what we understand, however, Nichols has no intention of moving back to Texas, neither is she prepared to quit her pursuit of forcing Thompson’s hand deeper into his pockets.
According to the New York Post, the 30-year-old power forward is in the tailend of his two-year R306 million ($19 million) contract with the Sacramento Kings. It would befuddle him, so early into his pro career, to quit the game.
Thompson has two other children; son Prince with ex Jordan Craig, and daughter True with Khloe Kardashian.
