We have come to know what life is without Scott Mescudi, and it’s been bleak. Canadian megastar Kid Cudi returned to music after a three-year hiatus with a new single accurately titled Leader of the Delinquents.
Where has Kid Cudi been this whole time?
Kid Cudi has never been the type to maintain his brand by being front-of-face all the time, like most celebrities. However, he somehow manages to stay top-of-mind and any marketing guru will tell you how much of a treasure chest that kind of social currency is.
So, where had Kid Cudi been this whole time? Well, according to Pitchfork the Cleveland native has been working on a Netflix original animation series which will be accompanied by an album titled Entergalactic.
From what we know so far, Kid Cudi will executive produce, write and star in the series, with the help of Black-ish‘s Kenya Barris and How to Make It in America_’s Ian Edelman.
Outside of this, though, the last time we heard from Kid Cudi was in his joint project Kids See Ghost with his idol Kanye West.
