Explosive accusations have emerged against mixed martial artist Conor McGregor, as a woman has come forward accusing him of rape during Game 5 of the NBA Finals earlier this month. McGregor, however, vehemently denies the allegations.
Conor McGregor denies raping woman at 2023 NBA Finals
According to demand letters sent to McGregor, the NBA, and the Miami Heat by attorney Ariel Mitchell, the incident purportedly occurred at the Kaseya Centre in Florida on Friday, 9 June 2023, following the Denver Nuggets’ victory over their opponents.
McGregor, who was in attendance and had occupied courtside seats, actively participated in the event’s entertainment, including a halftime skit involving a confrontation with a Heat mascot.

As per the letters obtained by TMZ Sports, the alleged sexual assault occurred later that evening when the woman was reportedly forcefully taken into a men’s bathroom where McGregor and his security guard were already present.
Mitchell claims that NBA and Heat security personnel separated the woman from her friend, refusing her exit from the bathroom and preventing others from entering.
The attorney alleges that McGregor emerged from a handicapped stall and engaged in aggressive and non-consensual behaviour, forcefully kissing the victim.
The situation escalated further, with McGregor allegedly compelling the woman to perform oral sex on him and attempting to engage in non-consensual anal sex.
According to Mitchell, the woman managed to fend off McGregor by elbowing him, allowing her to escape. However, she hurriedly fled the scene, unintentionally leaving her purse behind, which was allegedly held by McGregor’s security guards until she pleaded for its return.
The woman subsequently reported the assault to local authorities, seeking legal recourse against those involved. In a statement, McGregor’s representatives categorically denied the allegations, emphasizing his refusal to be intimidated.
As the gravity of the accusations against McGregor unfolds, the legal process will play a vital role in determining the truth behind the allegations.
The NBA, the Miami Heat, and McGregor now face the prospect of potential litigation as the woman pursues settlements rather than proceeding with a lawsuit.
