Blue Mbombo was forced to address unfounded claims made by renowned gossip blogger, Musa Khawula, about her relationship status.
Blue Mbombo denies relationship with Austell Mashaba
On Tuesday, social media was abuzz with hot ‘tea’ served by the controversial microblogger about the alleged father of Mbombo’s newborn.
You will remember the Big Brother Mzansi finalist went viral in April 2022 for her water birth which, in her reflection, was “the most fulfilling journey ever.”
“I’m so proud of myself for pushing for only 26 min without epidural. Also grateful for the support from my man, twinny, midwife and doula. I almost got discouraged for wanting natural birth, many said I was “brave” I laughed coz I’m not,..I’M A WOMAN!!!!!” she wrote on Instagram at the time.
Well, according to Khawula, the father of Mbombo’s baby girl is reportedly Auswell Mashaba, a crude businessman with links to PRASA corruption.
However, Mbombo wasted no time in addressing the allegation, making it abundantly clear that in no way was she connected to Mashaba.
“No dude, this isn’t cool. Why are you lying unprovoked? You can’t ruin people’s names for likes and retweets,” she wrote under Khawula’s tweet.

This is not the first time Khawula has been called out for false reporting. Last week, the controversial gossiper accused DJ Sbu of stealing Zahara’s SAMA trophies.
He was also lambasted for leaking Mihlali Ndamase’s personal information in his Leeroy Sidambe exposé. Speaking on the leak in a radio interview, Khawula admitted that he was cognisant of the dangers attached to releasing the social media influencer’s contact information and physical address to the public.
However, he had no intention of applying corrective measures in his reporting since, apologies aren’t exactly ‘his thing’.

Khawula, it’s believed, is out on bail for the alleged murder of his romantic partner, Wandile Khambule. Reports claim the gossiper allegedly stabbed Khambule to death in March 2022 after weeks of stalking him.
Relatives of the victim maintain Khambule had moved on with his life after a brief stint with Khawula and that the celeb gossiper could not handle the breakup.
