Big Zulu and King Monada are the first South African entertainers who’ve hopped onto the Triller-backed trend of celebrity boxing matches.
Big Zulu taunts King Monada
The Mali Eningi star has been taunting Monada since he was challenged to a boxing match and on Tuesday, a slow-motion video showing Zulu throwing his weight behind a solid jab got social media worried for the Limpopo singer.

At this time, no official confirmation has come from either party on whether this celebrity boxing match is actually scheduled to take place. It seems, at least from the surface, that this may be a bluff.
However, if anything, Zulu looks more than ready to throw fisticuffs with the Dzena Mo star.
How did this celebrity boxing trend come about?
The celeb boxing buzz was first created by Cassper Nyovest a few weeks ago. The Siyathandana rapper had been touted to face AKA in a blockbuster match-up but in Supamega’s darkest hour, Nyovi was left with no opponent. So, in true Nyovest fashion, he went looking for trouble on his timeline.
Soon, the trend caught steam and Monada, who may have been too caught up in the hysteria of the trend, sized himself up against Big Zulu. At first, the Mali Eningi crooner declined the challenge but it seems, peer pressure set in and since then, he’s been going hard at the gym, looking deadlier in every video clip.
Big Zulu vs King Monada: Who would win?
Social media has taken off with the idea of Zulu and Monada duking it out and already, the online bookies have called the odds in Zulu’s favour.
Here are a few reactions from people who’ve weighed in on the boxing match:
King Monada, he's the king after all. Big Zulu will need assistance of inkabi zakhe. https://t.co/ql2VGljaZu
