Reality star Annie Idibia seems unbothered by the outrage on social media concerning her serial cheater husband and Nigerian star, Innocent ‘2baba’ Idibia.
Annie Idibia doubles down on her love for 2baba
Earlier this week, social media was abuzz with gasps and cackles when 2baba, who stars in the Netflix hit reality TV series Young, Rich and African alongside Khanyi Mbau, when 2baba surfaced with a public apology.
It was later discovered, through the gossip grapevine, that the Nigerian musician was expecting his eighth child with a woman only known to be a banker.
This speculation tied in perfectly with 2baba’s recent public apology tour, where, in a series of Instagram posts, the African Queen crooner pleaded for his wife’s forgiveness.
““I don’t want to be the one that always apologises. I have no excuses. I want to do right by my wife, and my kids and their moms and my mom and all families and my manager and friends,” he wrote.
Annie, months after she had unfollowed and blocked 2baba and his family, seems to have returned to her man’s arms. Despite his soon-coming eighth child with another woman, Mrs Idibia publicly prophesied her love for the Nigerian star, declaring, “our love isn’t for everybody.”
They don’t need to understand it. It’s on us [and] us alone,” she wrote.
How many children does 2baba have?
2baba is expecting his eighth child with an unidentified woman known only on social media as a banker. This will be the third woman to bear the Nigerian star’s baby out of wedlock.
According to several Nigerian media reporters, 2baba fathers:
- two children from a past relationship with a woman named Sumnbo Adeoye, who is married to renowned Nigerian evangelist David Adeoye;
- three children from his US-based entrepreneur baby momma Pero Adeniyi, whom he spent quality time with on a Disneyland trip earlier this year; and
- two children from his current wife, Annie.
In fact, the wife of the Nigerian star revealed in the Netflix reality TV show that despite dating 2baba while he was in relationships with these women, she only had his first child when his tally was up to five.
According to the crooner, however, his streak of inseminations has come to a screeching halt.
“I’ve been a star for so long that my bulletproof vest is worn-out. I’m not quitting or suicidal or giving up. I want to go back to my default settings and denounce my role model status and make up for lost time with my kids and give you all music that will make you remember and understand why they call me 2BABA,” he wrote.
Unfortunately, social media commenters were far from convinced.
