Emtee reacts to not getting a spot on the lineup
As anticipation for Cape Town’s first Cotton Fest builds, online talk has swelled around Emtee and his recent tweets.
The Logan rapper first made headlines this past week when, in an Instagram Live feed recorded by a fan, he mentioned his stand-off-ish relationship with Cassper Nyovest.
“I love him, I f*** with him. I never had a problem with him. I was just mad when he had some s*** to say about me, that’s it,” Emtee said.
Nyovest took the moment as an opportunity to forge peace and in a tweet, the Put Your Hands Up rapper extended an olive branch to Emtee,
“Hopefully we can sort it out and move forward. I love you big dawg. See you soon,” he tweeted.
This time around, in another show of vulnerability, Emtee not only admitted he felt left out of the 2022 Cotton Fest Cape Town lineup, but the star raised eyebrows when he insisted that “[Riky Rick] would’ve made sure I was on this lineup. Just saying.”
Cotton Fest had not addressed the tweet when this article was published.
